Why is Cara Hromada Photography, Inc. worth the investment?
Cara Hromada Photography offers personalized sessions with unparalleled service, a wide range of portrait products and years of experience through ongoing education. CHP invests 8 to 10 hours per client session from the pre-session consultation to the delivery of your portraits. There is a lot of behind the scenes work going on after the session to ensure the best quality product. All these elements come together to provide you with a unique portrait experience.
What is included with the session fee?
The session fee covers only the time and talent of Cara in photographing and editing your images that will be presented to you during your image presentation. The session fee does not include any portraits or products.
How much should I expect to investment in my portraits?
Although there is a $245 minimum order ($395 for on-location sessions), the average client invests between $500 and $1200 worth of products. You may spend a little more or a little less depending on your needs and what you plan on doing with the portraits.
Having portraits created is an investment in your family’s heritage. Your portraits will hold a special place in your heart and become a timeless piece of art that will be treasured for years to come.
During the year, CHP offers portrait specials to coincide with the seasons. They may be in the form of a discount or a packaged offer. Are digital files available for purchase?
Yes, digital packages start at $325. CHP is not responsible for final print quality when printing on your own.
How far in advance should I schedule my session?
CHP is available for sessions Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only. It’s best to schedule your sessions at least three weeks in advance. Keep in mind Saturdays are popular and book quickly. Due to the personalized nature of the studio and the amount of time invested with each client, limited sessions are available per month.
What if I have to reschedule my session?
Things come up, kids get sick, life is unpredictable…no problem! However, I do ask that you try to give me 24 hours notice. Your session fee is non-refundable but can transferred to a later date within a one month period.
How long before I can see my images?
Your images will be presented in a touching presentation at the studio within 14 days of the session. Cara will guide you through the portrait selection process as well as custom framing options to compliment your home or office décor. For relatives that are unable to attend, a select few of the images can be uploaded to a temporary online gallery for them to review once your order has been placed.
Do you provide assistance with portrait display in my home?
Yes, simply take some pictures and provide measurements of the space via email prior to your image presentation, and I will recommend sizes and layouts that would be appropriate. For an additional fee, I can come to your home to determine the best way to display the portraits from your session.
When will my portraits be ready for pick up?
Providing a quality product takes time, please allow three to six weeks for delivery.
How long do you keep your images on file after the session?
Images that you have ordered are kept on file indefinitely. The other remaining images are discarded after six months.
How does copyright apply to my portraits?
All images created by Cara Hromada Photography, Inc. are copyright protected. It is illegal to scan, copy or reproduce any portraits without written consent from CHP. By creating a copy or scan of the original image, the quality and beauty will be diminished. CHP will be happy to order additional prints needed.
